Nikola Vucevic Has Hilarious Reaction After He Wasn’t Traded For Rudy Gobert

It appears Nikola Vucevic will be a Chicago Bull next season, after all.

Since the offseason began, the rumor mill was churning and linking the Bulls to Jazz center Rudy Gobert. But when push came to shove, Gobert was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday afternoon.

While Bulls fans may be a little upset they missed out of the Rudy Gobert sweepstakes, Nikola Vucevic might be relieved.

Being as he would have likely been in any Gobert trade the Bulls made, Vucevic took to social media to crack a joke following the T-Wolves move.

Nikola Vucevic came to the Bulls in the middle of the 2020 season after being traded from Orlando for Wendell Carter Jr.

Last season, Vucevic had an impressive 17.6 PPG to go along with 11 rebounds a game. However, the Bulls have admittedly been looking for a more skilled rim protector in the offseason.

Still, the Bulls have a serviceable big in Nikola Vucevic, and it appears as though he’ll continue to be there when next season begins.
