The Mavs released a statement following the incident:

“It was unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated,” the team said. “The Mavericks, along with American Airlines Center, swiftly removed the fan from today’s game.”

Footage has since been leaked showing a fan in a White jersey who appeared to be a smaller kid touching Paul’s mother.

The fan who got kicked out, Turner Carreker took to Social Media to give his explanation of the events.

It may not have been him according to his IG story post, but the Mavericks have banned him anyways. Families of players should be separated from the general population moving forward.

Fans really need to chill.
