Mets Skipper Buck Showalter is a Big Shakira Guy

Who knew New York Mets manager Buck Showalter was such a big Shakira guy.

This past week the Mets skipper made some pretty awkward comments during a pregame press conference. Shakira just so happened to be in attendance for the game at Citi Field. The Mets manager Showalter assumed she was throwing out the first pitch and let “hind snatcher” which he corrected to “hind catcher”

Showalter quickly caught himself and said he called the catcher position that when he was growing up.

No one is going to disagree with Buck that Shakira is hot, but there’s a time and a place for that kind of talk.
