Superdome Floor Being Blamed For Injuring Armando Bacot’s Ankle

North Carolina’s Armando Bacot was a double-double machine throughout the tourney. He had an incredible run to the national championship game in men’s March Madness.

But it was an ankle injury in the Final Four win over Duke that had everyone worried on how much he’d be able to contribute in the National Championship game. For the most part it held up, but with under a minute to go and North Carolina was down by one, Bacot was driving to the hoop when his right ankle gave out from under him and he slipped.

His ankle once again was injured.

Videos from that moment emerged with everyone wondering, was it the Superdome court that was to blame?

Injuries are just part of the game, but you don’t want to ever see someone get injured by a loose floorboard, if that’s what actually happened.
