Could this be the year Texas football is finally back?

Well if they do have a successful season, it will have nothing to do with Steve Sarkisian or the fact that they landed former No. 1 overall recruit Quinn Ewers via the transfer portal. It will have everything to do with Jennifer Lopez. For whatever reason, J-Lo getting married is directly correlated to Texas wins.

In case you missed it, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck recently got married. Every year that J-Lo has gotten married this millennium, the Longhorns have won 11 games.

2001 — J-Lo marries Chris Judd, Texas went 11-2 and won the Holiday Bowl.

2004 — J-Lo Marries Marc Anthony, Longhorns went 11-1 that season, won the Rose Bowl.

Last season Texas went 5-7, so they have a lot of work to do. But with J-Lo’s latest marriage on their side, 11 wins should follow.
