It’s a new world in college sports with the NIL rules, and now Alabama and Fanatics are leaning in to it.
This week, the sports company announced they have reached a deal with he Crimson Tide that allows them and players to profit off of each other.
The next evolution in NIL? Alabama, partnering with Fanatics, is opening this season a “team” store within Bryant-Denny called The Authentic.

Obviously, Alabama could already sell potential recruits on NIL, but perhaps this will even further that notion.
All offseason long, Nick Saban has been critical of the new dynamic in college sports and how it will create even more parity in the league. But at the end of the day, Bama knows they can use all of it to their advantage.
If you live in or around the Tuscaloosa area, you should be checking out the new Fanatics digs.
