Aria Hutchinson Pays Tribute to her Brother Aidan at Miss USA Pageant

Talk about some sisterly love.

Aidan Hutchinson is a superstar defensive end for the Detroit Lions. He was the second overall pick at the NFL draft this year, his sister, Aira is a University of Michigan alum, who is currently in med school, but she’s also the winneer of Miss Michigan, a title she won earlier this year. The Miss USA Pageant took place this weekend in Reno, the winner was Miss Texas, who will go onto Miss Universe, but that didn’t mean that Aria didn’t show up for her state and her brother’s successes by rocking a dress designed after a Lions Jersey.

Bringing sports to beauty pageants is the perfect way to get some national media attentions. You have to give them something to cheer for as the Lions have started out the season 1-3. But on the positive tip, Aidan Hutchinson has recorded three sacks and seven solo tackles so he’s looking like a solid NFL Player thus far.

“Cannot believe I get to spend my 1 month anniversary as Miss Michigan USA in Cancun this weekend for the @missusa orientation!! what a dream!! feeling ecstatic and grateful… and then some,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
