Star receiver Julio Jones is off to a rough start with Mike Vrabel’s Tennessee Titans.
The Titans were rolled by the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday 38-13. And during the game, Jones was called for an unnecessary roughness, which turned a third-and-one into a third-and-16 in the first quarter.
On Monday, Mike Vrabel spoke on Julio Jones’ careless penalty.
“That’s absolutely nothing we coach or teach. So that would fall under the category of doing dumb s–t that hurts the team. Right there in bold letters,” Vrabel said, via Turron Davenport of ESPN.com.

Julio Jones Already In Mike Vrabel’s Doghouse
The Julio Jones penalty occurred early. And after the Titans couldn’t convert the third and long, the game spiraled out of control.
On the day, Julio caught just three passes for 29 yards. The former Falcon was expected to bolster a Titans offense that already proved to be filled with playmakers last season. But instead, the unit looked choppy and lacked an identity on Sunday.
The first test for Julio Jones didn’t go according to plan. And now Mike Vrabel will be left trying to pick up the pieces with a difficult Seattle Seahawks team looming for Tennessee next weekend.
