College Baseball Umpire Takes Pitch To The Groin While Mic’d Up

A college baseball umpire took a pitch to the groin area on Saturday during a Stanford and North Carolina game. No doubt it’s never a good thing to have that happen to you on national television, but when you’re mic’d up, it’s even worst.

The ball bounces in front of the place and skips right up in to the umps sweet spot.

He was ok.

While you can clearly hear the ump yell in agony. One can only imagine what the mic cut off after the scream.
