The moment Julian Edelman retired from the New England Patriots, people immediately started to wonder if he’d land with his old pals in Tampa Bay. Rob Gronkowski claims there’s more than a 50% chance he links up wit his old buddies down in Florida again. Well actually, he gave it a 69% chance so we’re not exactly sure how seriously to take this but hey, it’s definitely worth noting.

Leave it to Gronk to use his favorite number.
Edelman posted a retirement video and it feels pretty real he’s done.

Tom on the other hand didn’t show any signs Jules would be coming back:
On the biggest stage and in the biggest moments, you always came through. You never lost that chip on your shoulder and you never let anyone define you as a person or player. I’m proud of you Jules. Love you @edelman11 https://t.co/7i5Qb6msor

Gronk did retire for a year and come back, so maybe Julian is looking to get his body right before he makes any decisions. Difference is, Gronk was a lot younger than Edelman when he first retired.
