Topless Protesters Storm Court At New York Liberty WNBA Game

Protestors are getting edgier by the day.

What a crazy year for protesters, who have been storming sporting events, specifically NBA playoff games, and now the protestors have taken the fight to the WNBA.

Topless advocates for abortion rights rushed the court this week during the New York Liberty-Minnesota Lynx WNBA game at Barclays Center. They were protesting the potential repeal of Roe v. Wade. The topless protestors had messages like “Hell no!” and “My Body, My Choice” written all over their bodies.

The protestors got manhandles by security guards, who pulled one woman by her hair, while others had to be removed by being dragged off the court.

Via NY Post:

“A group of topless pro-choice protesters rushed on the court during Tuesday’s WNBA game between the New York Liberty and the Minnesota Lynx at Barclays Center.

While some of the women — who took their tops off but covered their chests — rushed down to the court mid-game, others held up signs in support of the Roe v. Wade ruling.

Video footage taken by onlookers at the game shows the Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights protesters marching to the game holding up signs in support of abortion rights, while others were smothered in green paint.

The women were eventually escorted out by security.”

The women apparently represented Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights, which has staged protests at Dodger Stadium and at televangelist Joel Osteen’s church recently.

According to the NY Post, no charges have been filed.
