Remember Sister Jean? The Loyola Ramblers team chaplain who got famous during the team’s surprise run to the Final Four in 2018 is back in the news. The elderly Sister Jean is known for sharing inspiring messages with the Loyola players and head coach Porter Moser.
Naturally, when Loyola won the Missouri Valley Conference tournament on Sunday, everyone wanted to know whether the 101-year-old Sister Jean would be with Loyola for their next March Madness run.

While everyone is celebrating Sister Jean’s team being back in the tournament, the real question is whether she’ll be able to attend with COVID restrictions in place. Coach Moser said it is still unclear if she’ll be able to travel to Indy with the team. But her thoughts have remained with the players over the course of the year.
#Loyola coach Porter Moser said he knows Sister Jean will want to be in Indy with the team. Has wanted to be at every game, but has been calling in with pregame prayers.
