Reporter Asked Saquon Barkley The Most Cringe Question Ever About His ACL Tear

Saquon Barkley’s first game back at Soldier Field in Chicago is bringing back tons of bad memories.

This is the place he tore the ACL in his right knee just over 15 months ago.

Saquon is not trying to think about it:

“I try not to think about it,” Barkley said ahead of his struggling New York Giants facing the Chicago Bears on Sunday. “But it happened. I really don’t try to think about it, I guess, probably more so last year [I did], but this is a whole different season.”

Unfortunately one reporter asked him  about it,  in the most ridiculous way.

“Hey, Saquon, I know you guys are going back to Chicago, where obviously you tore your ACL last year. Some players are looking for closure. They’ll go back to the spot where it happened. [They’ll] spit, piss, and some will even maybe want to burn down the stadium where it happened in. Is that something that, you know, you’ve considered doing for all of this?”

Barkley clearly has not been the same player since he tore his ACL at Soldier Field.

Saquon has rushed for 461 yards and two touchdowns on 130 carries this season.

Not much production in fantasy or reality…
