Rapper Kodak Black Under Fire for His Kobe Bryant Helicopter Birthday Tribute

Too soon? Rapper Kodak Black turned 24 years old this week, and to mark the occasion, he held a Kobe Bryant themed party. This party included a gold helicopter, which as we all know, is how Kobe Bryant and his daughter tragically died. Kodak Black took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes photos of his party.

Kodak explained why a helicopter is significant: “It was January 26, 2020 and I was in Oklahoma. I was still in prison. I heard about his unfortunate demise and stuff like that and I was already saying, man, when I come home, I’mma come home on a helicopter. Then I heard how he passed and I was like, damn that’s crazy, maybe that’s a sign not to jump on the helicopter ’cause, you know, he’s KB and I’m KB. Kobe Bryant, Kodak Black, all that crazy stuff.”

Not a good look no matter what his intentions are.

Use your head KB.
