One Team Reportedly Ready to Swoop in On Deshaun Watson

The Deshaun Watson trade talk has been pretty quiet as of late. He’s still currently under investigation for sexual misconduct claims. But once he figures out a way to end all the civil suits, one team is ready to swoop in. ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter appeared on “The John Kincade Show” on 97.5 The Fanatic.

During Schefty’s segment, the veteran reporter claims one team is ready to make a move for Watson’s services.

“The [Philadelphia] Eagles are more equipped to make a run at DeShaun Watson than any other team out there,” Schefter said. “And if you put DeShaun Watson on the Philadelphia Eagles they become a Super Bowl contender right away.”

Schefter did mention all of this is contingent upon Watson getting rid of all the suits.

“I’m operating under the assumption this will be settled,” he continued. “And when he is deemed able to play, the Philadelphia Eagles will be waiting.”

Watson is one of the top ten QB’s in the league, and assuming he’s still hell bent on leaving Houston, which it seems he still is, someone will make a run for him once all the legal stuff is settled.
