Michael Thomas Post Cryptic Tweet Amid Trade Rumors

New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas had an up and down year with the team. Ok, mostly down, and partly out. Thomas and cornerback CJ Gardner-Johnson had an altercation earlier in the season. Thomas threw a punch, and was reportedly suspended one game by the team at that time.

It has felt like Michael Thomas’s name has come up in trade rumors all season despite coach Sean Payton’s best efforts to squash any of that speculation mid-season.

“Insiders on the Outside where they belong,” Payton said on Twitter referencing a report that the team was fielding offers for Thomas.

It was also reported that Michael Thomas’ “camp” was pushing for teams to make a move on the star receiver. After not catching a single pass in the team’s playoff loss to the Bucs, Michael Thomas is making news, yet again.

“Help is on the way,” the tweet read.

Tyreek Hill did use that line to troll Bucs fans earlier in the year, so maybe Michael Thomas is trying to do the same. With his history, who knows. Michael Thomas and the New Orleans Saints organization are probably not seeing eye-to-eye, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see a blockbuster trade go down this offseason.
