Kris Bryant Lingered At Wrigley Field A Little Longer On Thursday After What Could Have Been His Last Game In A Chicago Cubs Uniform

With the MLB Trade Deadline occurring on Friday, the Chicago Cubs took precautionary measure and sat Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo on Thursday afternoon, who appear to be up for grabs on the trade market.

Bryant is obviously highly coveted, and recently spoke on how all the trade talk has been taking its toll on him.

After the game ended on Thursday, Kris Bryant was seen taking in all of the sights while sitting in the dugout at Wrigley Field.

When Kris Bryant joined the Cubs during the 2015 season, he was far and away the top prospect in all of baseball. And if this is it for his tenure in Chicago, he did not disappoint.

Bryant and the Cubs core of Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez, Jon Lester, etc. made the playoffs in six years, and brought home the highly-coveted World Series Trophy for the first time since 1908.

Kris Bryant being traded serves as a bittersweet moment for him, and all the fans who have watched him since he was drafted in 2014.
