JuJu Smith-Schuster Just got Hurt Stepping On A Ref’s Penalty Flag

JuJu Smith-Schuster was the victim of one of the stranger injuries I have ever seen in my life today. Check out JuJu step on this ref’s flag, and appear to twist his ankle.

I mean, everything had to go perfectly for this to happen. The referee threw his flag right as JuJu Smith-Schuster is jogging off the field, and it lands right right underneath his foot. You don’t see that everyday. Should we blame the ref? Maybe he should’ve thrown the flag away from where JuJu was running.

Either way, let’s hope Smith Schuster is ok. He is a pivotal part of an elite Steelers receiving core. It’s also JuJu Smith-Schuster’s birthday today.

What a way to ruin a birthday and team win, getting hurt stepping on a penalty flag of all things. Let’s hope JuJu Smith-Schuster is fine after this freak incident. He seems like a good guy, and it would be a shame for his career to get derailed in the slightest due to a penalty flag.

It would especially suck to lose JuJu during a blowout game. The Steelers steamrolled the lowly Jaguars today and will remain undefeated on the season. Hopefully JuJu will be able to celebrate with his team.
