JuJu Smith-Schuster Announces He’s Done With The Pregame TikTok Routine

Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster announces the end of an era. He will not be doing the TikTok dancing on opponent’s team logos anymore going forward.

“For the betterment of myself and my teammates, I’m going to stop dancing on the logos,” Smith-Schuster announced today.

I wish I could say it was fun while it lasted, but I’d be lying. I was never really into the whole JuJu TikTok dancing thing, but maybe I’m just a cold-hearted cynic.

I wasn’t the only one, though. JuJu received plenty of flak from his pregame routine of dancing around on the logos, more so in recent weeks when the Steelers have been losing. It was finally time for Steelers coach Mike Tomlin to put his foot down on JuJu’s dancing, and the Steelers receiver has accepted that he’ll no longer be able to TikTok prior to games.

Is it just me, or is this whole story crazy? Only in 2020 do we have such a big controversy over an athlete and his TikTok dancing. It shouldn’t really be such a big news story, but for whatever reason, it is.

It’s time for JuJu Smith-Schuster to focus a little less on his social media presence, and a little more on winning. Since starting the season 11-0, the Steelers have lost three games in a row, including an embarrassing loss to the Bengals Monday Night Football.
