Famed Pro Wrestling Manager Jim Cornette Accused Of Coercing Former Talents Into Cuckolding Sex Parties With His Wife In Leaked DMs

You may have seen some of the hubbub around pro wrestling’s #MeToo moment in our Daily Spread this morning. The social media campaign, mostly tagged as #SpeakingOut, started with women outing numerous wrestlers for sexual abuse in the United Kingdom. It then began to include stories from female talent and fans, as well as some men, from around the globe.

Many of the tales are awful but unsurprising given what we’ve previously seen in similar #MeToo accusations. But one of the most curious stories comes from a talent in former WWE developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling who accused famous ’80s/’90s wrestling manager/character/booker and current podcaster Jim Cornette, known best for managing famous tag team the Midnight Express and his ubiquitous tennis racket. The wrestler, named AKI Evolution (real name Phil Earley), claims that Cornette’s wife Stacey Cornette coerced him into sexual activities, as well as several other male wrestlers, in exchange for not damaging their careers or better bookings. The posts also come on the heels of AEW wrestler Joey Janela previously jabbing at Cornette with similar predatory rumors:

Much like other entertainment fields, pro wrestling has a sordid history with this sort of thing. There have been sexual favors traded for spots or better positions in companies, fans being treated like meat, and a lot of “Boys’ Club” attitudes. There’s no ranking of any of these horrific accusation. But the tale of the forced cuckolding hot tub sex with a zany ’80s pro wrestling manager and his tennis racket is one that might be the most cartoonishly absurd and evil at once.
