Dirk Nowitzki Calls Scottie Pippen an Arrogant A-Hole

Sometimes you grow up and get the chance to meet your idols. This was the case for former NBA superstar Dirk Nowitzki. Apparently he was a huge fan of Scottie Pippen growing up. He had all his posters on his wall.

When Dirk finally got to the NBA, he got the chance to meet his idols. And let’s just say they didn’t quite live up to his expectations. In a rarely seen interview, Dirk talks about how you must lose respect for your idols if you’re going to succeed in the NBA.

He also took a shot at Scottie Pippen.
