Danuel House Apologizes For NBA Bubble ‘Mishap’

Danuel House is finally answering questions after a bizarre story led to his exile from the NBA Playoff bubble. If you are unfamiliar with the story, House was kicked out of the Orlando bubble for allowing an unauthorized female to enter his hotel room.

House reportedly let a female COVID tester into his room, which was a huge breach of protocol. The craziest part? House was sent home to a very unhappy wife. Here was his apology during Rockets media availability today.

“I’d like to start off by apologizing to my team and the organization and the owner for the mishap that happened in the bubble,” Danuel House said. “I’m focused. It’s behind me. It’s in the past. New year, new season. Looking forward to growing and expanding.”

I have a feeling House won’t hear the end of this anytime soon. Danuel House will always be remembered as the guy that screwed up because he couldn’t go a playoff run without macking his game. I mean, a COVID tester? Really?

I’m kind of surprised the Rockets are even giving Danuel House a second chance after all that drama. He’s not even that good of a player. I digress, though. Props to Danuel House for sitting at the podium and facing the music today. I’m sure that wasn’t easy.
