Miocic previously said that he wouldn’t fight during the Coronavirus outbreak:

“There’s no way,” Miocic told theScore on Thursday. “I can’t get a full camp in. So, there’s no reason to fight.”

“It’s tough because I have a lot of things going on in my world – my daughter, make sure she’s OK – going to work,” Miocic said. “I’m just trying to do the best that I can.”

Cormier won the heavyweight title from Miocic in their first battle in July 2018. When a trilogy fight was rumored before, the fight was listed in some sportsbooks as a pick ’em with both Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic -110 to win.
