Clippers Terance Mann Reveals Good Luck Charm Involving New Signee Rajon Rondon

The Clippers are fresh off a couple of wins against the Spurs. Sophomore guard Terance Mann talked about their new addition to the team, PG Rajon Rondon. In a postgame interview, Mann said that Rondo is a great thing for their squad. He added that growing up in Massachusetts made him look up to the former Boston Celtic as a basketball player to idolize back then. Near the end of the interview, Mann even claimed to have Rondo’s 2006 rookie card in his wallet. He proudly took it out and showed it to the camera. The young Clippers stud credits it as his good luck charm since middle school.

Mann, in his second year in the NBA, is currently averaging 5.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 16.9 minutes per contest. He recently scored a season-high double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds in the Clippers’ comeback victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Mann adds that his game has improved since deciding to keep Rondo’s card inside his wallet.

Mann plans to have the new Clippers point guard sign his rookie card when they eventually meet. The card is not in great condition, however, it will inevitably be worth more with an authentic Rondo signature on it. Mann hopes that Rondo will be a mentor to him in his time with the Clippers and help him continue to develop his game.

Rajon Rondon to the Clippers was one of the more interesting signings in the recent free agency period. He has at least one fan in Terance Mann, who is sure that he will be a good addition to the team. It likely won’t take a veteran like Rondo to gel with Clippers’ stars Paul George and Kawhi Leonard.
