Chilling Tribute To Christian Eriksen Took Place During The 10th Minute Of Belgium-Denmark Game

The sports world is still reeling after Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest, and collapsed on the field during a EURO 2020 match last weekend.

Thankfully, Eriksen is in good spirits, and giving updates to fans from his hospital bed.

During Thursday’s game between Denmark and Belgium, a chilling tribute took place for Christian Eriksen. During the 10th minute of the match (Eriksen wears #10) the ball was kicked out of play. Both teams took a pause in the action as the fans took over, giving a goosebump-worthy ovation.

Tributes have been paid to Christian Eriksen all throughout the week.

While Eriksen’s collapse was nothing short of horrifying, it’s cool to see a bunch of people from all different countries and walks of life rallying for one thing.

Christian Eriksen may still be recovering, but his presence is very much being felt at the EURO 2020 tournament.

Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery after one of the scariest things we’ve seen in live sports in a very long time.
