Chris Collinsworth Apologizes For Misogynistic Sexist Comments During Broadcast

Former NFL player turned announcer Chris Collinsworth was forced to apologize following the Ravens Steelers game. During the game Collinsworth made some comments towards women and their football knowledge. He was very surprised to learn that women were so knowledgeable about football.

“Everybody’s a fan,” Collinsworth said. “In particular the ladies that I met. They have really specific questions about the game. I’m like wow, just blown away. …”

Being a public figure in 2020 isn’t easy.  With social media and cancel culture ready to pounce on any person’s mistake, it’s become tough for someone not to offend.
