Bubba Wallace’s Fiancee Reacts To His Historic Win

Bubba Wallace and longtime girlfriend, Amanda Carter, have had quite the year.

The couple announced their engagement at the end of July. And now, they have even more reasons to celebrate.

After the NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega was called due to rain on Monday, Bubba Wallace was declared the winner. It was the first win by an African-American driver since 1963 – when a man named Wendell Scott took home the checkered flag.

While Scott is no longer with us, members of his family were around to congratulate Bubba after the historic win.

Later in the week, Amanda Carter, took to social media to share her message for Bubba Wallace.

“So incredible!!!!!! So proud of @bubbawallace !!!!!!” she said on Instagram following the win. “You did it, CUP WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally have no words!!! Thank you all for the kind messages!!! Oh and my hair is wet from a certain car chief dumping beer on my head.”

Not only was Bubba Wallace’s win the first of his career and one of historical significance. But it was also the first win for Michael Jordan’s 23X1 team – which made Bubba their first and only driver prior to the season.

MJ also had a message for Bubba.

“I’m so happy for Bubba and our entire 23XI team,” MJ said in a statement. “This is a historic win for us. From the day we signed him, I knew Bubba had the talent to win and Denny and I could not be more proud of him. Lets Go!”

Congratulations to Bubba Wallace! Him, Amanda Carter, and the 23XI team appear to have a lot to look forward to in the future.
