Being Stupid Isn’t Funny, Someone Should Tell Steve-O

On Thursday morning, former and apparently current Jackass, Steve-O decided to duct tape himself to a billboard in Hollywood. If you live in Los Angeles and have the Citizen app, you got a notification about a “man taped to billboard,” then when you clicked on the notification, you could clearly see it was some sort of viral marketing gig. Dumb!

I’m just saying that if you are a comedian, you should be able to promote your comedy without taping yourself to a billboard. Call me old fashioned, but a good joke will get me to tune in. Taping yourself to a billboard and then having to bother fire fighters to get your ass down during both a pandemic and fire season? Nah. I’m not watching.
