Baker Mayfield’s Wife Emily Responds to Trolls After Benching

Baker Mayfield was pulled in the third quarter with the Browns trailing the Steelers 31-7. Mayfield was clearly affected by the rib injury that had him listed as questionable for the game on the injury report. Mayfield finished the game completing 10 of 18 passes for 119 yards, with one touchdown, two interceptions and four sacks.

Following the game, someone sent a message to Baker Mayfield’s wife. She made sure to post about it:

Her response:

He’s not in an easy position. And he’s grinding for this city. It takes time. Don’t send me some stupid sh*t.

Playing in Cleveland can be brutal if things aren’t going well. Browns fans are starving for a winning team.  That being said,  calling out a player to his wife is straight up bush league. How does heckling his wife solve the Browns issues?
