A Former Teammate of Tom Brady Had The Tweet Of The Day

We may have been a little quick to pull the trigger on Tom Brady retiring, but Matt Cassel may be taking some of the spotlight off Adam Schefter with his hilarious tweet.

Saturday afternoon, Adam Schefter dropped a massive post saying that Tom Brady was going to announce his retirement.

Well minutes after his earth shattering post, representatives and family members of Tom Brady stated that it was not actually the case and that no official word has been made on Brady’s retirement.

Well this sent the NFL and sports world in to a bit of a twilight zone feel.

Luckily we have some pretty amazing people in the world and former backup to Tom Brady, Matt Cassel, was able to lighten the mood with his tweet. “Can confirm that I texted Tom Brady and he didn’t text me back”.

Truly a thing of beauty when everyone and their mothers are trying to figure out what the real deal is.

At this point it is up in the air to see if Tom Brady is actually retiring, but if I were a gambling man, and I am, I would be betting that he does retire.

I just don’t think Brady was too happy to hear it leaked before he could do his press conference.
