Kawhi Leonard Had One Request For Media Members Prior To Practice Appearance

Kawhi Leonard is notoriously private, and he apparently doesn’t want anyone to know whether or not he’ll be returning this season.

After the Clippers got Paul George back last week, all eyes have turned to Leonard.

And while Kawhi participated in shoot around and some on-court workouts this week, it wasn’t on video. Why? Because Leonard reportedly asked reporters at practice not to film him.

However, a video of Kawhi Leonard coming out to say “wadup” during Clippers practice was circulating the web.

Kawhi Leonard has been out for the entire season after injuring his right leg at the end of last season.

While Leonard was reportedly shooting around to test out the leg, Clippers coach Ty Lue kept the matter close to his chest when talking after the practice.

According to Lue, he “didn’t see” Leonard out on the floor during practice.

Recently, The Ringer’s Bill Simmons revealed on his podcast that he wouldn’t be surprised if the Clippers are back to full strength by the playoffs.

“I think some guys might be coming back,” Simmons said. “I wouldn’t be shocked if they just had a full team for Round One.”

Perhaps Kawhi Leonard will make his secret return to the Clippers sometime in the near future, which would change the entire landscape of the Western conference.

We’ll keep an eye out.
