Anthony Davis Makes Damning Admission About Offseason

By the sounds of it, Anthony Davis is not hard at work this offseason.

Even after being injured for a bulk of the season and struggling mightily alongside LeBron and Russell Westbrook, Davis made an admission that he has yet to pick up a basketball this offseason.

When speaking on the Lakers’ potential, new Lakers coach Darvin Ham said AD is the “key” to the team’s success going forward.

“I think he’s the key… We need consistency out of Anthony Davis. We need him to be healthy, we need him to be in a good mental space and we need him to be consistent as possible and back to playing that championship type basketball,” Ham said.

In the past, Anthony Davis’ work ethic has come in question, so it’s probably not the first thing Lakers fans wanted to hear that he hasn’t been practicing yet. But based on Ham’s comments, it would appear that there’s a lot in store for the big man.

Needless to say, next season will be a massive shot at redemption for the veteran center.
