Shaquille O’Neal Makes Insane Bet Prior To Hornets-Hawks Play-In Game

Shaquille O’Neal was feeling more than confident prior to the Hawks’ matchup against the Hornets in the play-in game on Wednesday night.

On the “NBA On TNT” set, Shaq was so confident that the Hawks were going to take care of the Hornets, that he agreed to do something insane if Charlotte was able to pull off the upset.

“If Charlotte beats the Hawks, I will stick my hand in a Hornets nest,” O’Neal declared.

Luckily for Shaq, it looks like Trae Young and the Hawks are making him look like a smart man tonight.

With the third quarter wrapping up, the Hawks currently have a 25 point lead against the Hornets, and figure to be playing dangerous basketball heading into the postseason.

It’s too bad, too, because it would have been pretty damn fun to see Shaq stick his hand up a Hornets nest if they weren’t able to take care of business.
