U.S. Olympic Team’s Closing Ceremony Outfits Trashed By Twitter for ‘Whiteness’

Too white ain’t alright?  Team USA’s Tokyo Olympics closing ceremony outfits got trashed around the social media runway this week, and left some fashion critics wondering where the yacht was. The Ralph Lauren outfits for the Summer Games generated other gold medal jabs at the “whiteness.”

According to the press release, Ralph Lauren exec David Lauren said: “dressing our nation’s best and brightest athletes in timeless clothing that has been consciously created.”
