Chicago Blackhawks wing Patrick Kane played his 1,00th game during the team’s road trip recently. As they returned home to the United Center tonight, Kane was celebrated by teammates, and was even able to have some family out on the ice for the pregame celebration.
Of those in attendance was Kane’s newborn baby and his girlfriend, Amanda Grahovec.

Patrick Kane’s longtime coach Joel Quenneville was also in attendance, as his new team, the Florida Panthers, will be playing Kane and the Hawks tonight. He shared his thoughts on Kaner’s milestone.
Joel Quenneville's first game back at the United Center was when Patrick Kane was honored for 1,000 points. Quenneville's second game will be tonight when Kane is honored for his 1,000th game. #Blackhawks #1Kane

Kane and the Blackhawks will be happy to be back at home. While they were firmly in the playoff hunt, a rough road trip has seen their lead all but evaporate. The Blackhawks are currently tied with the Blue Jackets for the last playoff spot in the Central Division.
At any rate, the Hawks have exceeded expectations this season, as many fans (myself included) viewed this as a rebuilding year for the team.
One thing we’ve all learned over the years is that you can never count out Patrick Kane. Something tells me we’ll be seeing some more milestones out of #88 before it’s all said and done.
