Snoop Dogg is putting his money where his mouth is. The rapper has challenged Dana White to a $2 million bet on the fight between YouTube star Jake Paul and MMA veteran Ben Askren. White began the trash talk when he appeared on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, claiming that Jake Paul isn’t a real boxer. He said that he was willing to bet $1 million that Askren would oust Paul in the upcoming fight. Snoop Dogg saw his bet and raised him $1 million, betting on the YouTube sensation to win the fight.
Here’s what Snoop Dogg had to say about his boy Jake Paul’s chances against the MMA vet.
“Hey Dana White, I see you got faith in your boy right? Going up against my guy Jake,” Snoop Dogg said.
“You say you got a million? You’re the CEO of UFC, man. You’ve got more than a million. Put up two million and we’ll match it. … Come on Dana, whatchu waiting on? Your money good. Yeah, I got Jake. Fight night. That’s my guy, that’s my dog in the fight. Two million. Holla at me, Dana White.”
Of course, Jake Paul saw this and, like Snoop Dogg, he himself challenged Dana White to drop $2 million instead. He even went as far as to dare White to step into the ring with him after he takes care of Ben Askren.
Jake Paul is officially 2-0 in his professional boxing career and is no stranger to talking trash. Snoop Dogg is fully backing his “boy” to remain undefeated. It remains to be seen if Dana White will rise to the challenge of Snoop Dogg and Jake Paul. He certainly has the money to do so.
