NFL Preseason Betting: Ravens Line Takes Shift Amid Wild Winning Streak

Are the Baltimore Ravens going to continue their ridiculous preseason winning streak tonight?

After winning their first preseason game against the Titans, the Ravens are preparing for their tilt against the Cardinals later tonight. And they’re going into the matchup with a ridiculous 21 game preseason winning streak.

While the Ravens are undoubtedly going to be getting some betting action in their favor given the wild streak, it was revealed earlier in the week that QB Lamar Jackson will not be playing in the game.

Luckily for the Ravens and their bettors, Cardinals starting QB Kyler Murray isn’t expected to play in the game, either.

Of course, the public is favoring the Ravens in the game. And the line movement has been adjusted accordingly.

According to VSIN’s Ben Fawkes, the betting line for the Ravens-Cardinals opened at Baltimore -6, but after 71% of money came in on the Ravens at that line, it has now been moved to -6.5.

Ahead of the game, Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury spoke on going up against the Ravens’ preseason streak.

“That’s part of their culture,” Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury said. “They say we’re going to win these games and help it build into the regular season. I respect that approach. Obviously, their team believes. They have one of the most successful franchises in the league. We’ll get their best shot.”

While some NFL coaches don’t put too much stake in preseason, John Harbaugh has clearly taken a different approach.

“There’s going to be people that are going to say this doesn’t mean anything,” Harbaugh said after the streak reached 19 in 2021. “There’s going to be people that are going to look at it and say, ‘Wow, that’s something.’ I’m of the belief that everything has meaning in life.”
