Steelers Fans Upset After Seeing Super Bowl Odds Get Worse Following Mitchell Trubisky Signing

It’s safe to say that Steelers fans are going to need some time before warming up to the idea of Mitchell Trubisky replacing Ben Roethlisberger under center.

After it was announced that the Steelers were planning on signing the free agent quarterback, Trubisky shared his initial reaction.

Shortly after, though, betting sites revealed that the Steelers odds to win the Super Bowl next season actually got higher after they announced the Mitchell Trubisky signing.

Steelers fans used this as fuel to their arguments that Trubisky was not the answer.

During his four seasons as the quarterback for the Chicago Bears, Mitchell Trubisky led the team to the playoffs two times. But after never really making the next step in his development, the team moved on.

Last season, Trubisky learned a much more competent offensive system with offensive coordinator Brian Daboll as Josh Allen’s backup in Buffalo.

Now, Mitchell Trubisky will have one last chance to prove he’s a starting quarterback in the NFL. Clearly Las Vegas thinks the Steelers will be disappointing with Trubisky as their guy in 2022.
