This Opening Day and first weekend of the MLB season just felt different. After spending a full year where most stadiums were vacant during sporting events, all MLB teams welcomed fans back (at limited capacity) for Opening Day. Seeing fans back in stadiums felt different, it felt like we are getting closer to having some sense of normalcy back in the world.

Perhaps nothing felt as normal as the scene in Wrigleyville during the weekend. On Sunday, fans still crowded the streets of Wrigleyville, barhoppin’ around. As the night was concluding, there were fans throwing up on the sidewalks, and haymakers being thrown.

Don’t call it a comeback, Wrigleyville never left

Yeah, this looks about right. Wrigleyville is the home of the biggest party scene in the MLB, and sometimes things can get ugly out there as the night drags on. Fights, fans yacking in the streets, everyone out late on a Sunday Night. It feels like Wrigley is back, folks.
Stay safe out there Cubs fans. Sometimes you gotta mix in a water or two.
