World Series Ticket Prices For Dodgers vs. Rays Are Dirt Cheap

Ever been to a World Series game in the middle of a global pandemic? I don’t know of anyone alive who can answer yes to that question. Well, guess what? The World Series starts Tuesday night with the Dodgers vs. Rays at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX and tickets are selling at dirt cheap prices.

World Series Ticket Prices

Several ticket exchange agencies have reported alarmingly low prices for this year’s World Series. Seats for Tuesday night’s Game 1 are selling for as low as $290 per ticket. Now, that is not exactly pocket change, however, compared to standard World Series prices of over $1000 that’s pretty much dirt cheap. The MLB says it’s allowing 11,500 fans to attend each game. That’s less than 30% of Globe Life’s capacity, so that should leave plenty of room for social distancing.

According to StubHub, World Series Game 2 tickets for Wednesday night’s game can be bought for as low as $375 apiece, with Games 3 through 7 currently selling for as low as around $500 per ticket. I can guarantee you the demand for tickets would have been a lot higher had the Astros made the World Series as Houston is much closer to Arlington than LA or Tampa.

There are many COVID regulations in play if you want to attend the World Series. The MLB is only selling tickets in groups of four, with each group 6-feet away from the next. And, as you can imagine, masks are required. Prices will likely rise as the series goes on, so if you plan to get tickets for the World Series I would recommend doing so ASAP. These prices are a dream come true for baseball fans, but it won’t last forever.

World Seris Game 1 starts Tuesday night at 7:10 pm CST.
