WATCH: Tim Anderson Pimps Lead Off Home Run; Does Not Care For Unwritten Rules

White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson does not care for your unwritten baseball rules. Baseball’s “most fun player” smashed a first-inning, lead-off home run off of Tigers starter Matt Boyd Thursday and let everyone know about it with this epic pimp job.

In previous years, Anderson would have likely been thrown at in each at-bat for the rest of the game, maybe even for the rest of his career, but we may finally be seeing a new leaf turned over in which the unwritten rules of baseball are thrown in the garbage.

Anderson followed up the homer with a triple and a single, which makes him just a double away from the cycle as of this writing.

As someone who detests the “unwritten rules” of baseball, this is completely fine and baseball needs to be more fun. Like Kawhi Leonard, Tim Anderson is just a “fun guy” and we need more Kawhi Leonard – Tim Anderson types in professional baseball, unless you’re on the Astros in which case you should do absolutely nothing if you hit a home run. I don’t even think they should be allowed to run the bases. Just give them a run and send them straight back to the dugout.
