Washington Football Team Considering Changing Its Name To ‘Wild Hogs’

John Travolta’s ears must be perked up.

The Washington Football Team is in the process of trying to rename themselves after ditching their longtime “Redskins” label. The “Football Team” name is temporary, but it appears as though it’ll stick around for another season, as Washington is having a tough time renaming their squad.

Today, WFT fans received a long list of potential names to vote on. Some of the names were absolutely ridiculous, but maybe the most crazy one was ‘Wild Hogs’.

Im just picturing Dan Snyder sitting in his office alone pounding out a list of potential names to send his fan base. He looks up at his wall and sees the ‘Wild Hogs’ poster he bought back in 2007 and says to himself, “yeah, that’s a good one to add to the list”.

In all seriousness, Snyder probably has nothing to do with this process. The ‘Wild Hogs’ mention probably has nothing to do with the awful motorcycle movie, and Washington will probably end up going with something pretty generic.

We can have fun in the meantime, though. Right?
