Unfortunately for USC fans, Urban Meyer is only in year one as the coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. And he won’t be leaving to take a college football job just yet.

Perhaps it’s unfortunate for Meyer, as well.

When responding to a question about the USC opening, Urban Meyer unsurprisingly shut down any rumors and claimed that he was all-in with the Jaguars. But his body language told a completely different story.

Fans were quick to notice that Urban Meyer didn’t look all too excited to be “committed” to the Jaguars organization.

Sure, Urban Meyer said the words everyone knew he was going to say. But he definitely didn’t do much to put the USC rumors to bed when given the opportunity.

In his NFL debut, Meyer’s Jaguars fell flat, losing in a blowout to the lowly Texans, and it’s likely going to be a long year for him in Jacksonville.

It’s not clear if USC will kick the tires on Urban Meyer. But after watching this answer, they should probably give it a shot at the very least.
