Not many people gave UCLA much of a chance against Alabama in the Sweet 16 this weekend. Of the Bruins’ critics included ESPN reporter Peter Burns who tweeted, “Been thinking about it all day and I’m still torn. Can’t figure out if Bama beats UCLA or if they destroy UCLA.”

After UCLA beat Alabama in an OT thriller, their athletic director, Matin Jarmond, had a message for Peter Burns.

Jarmond used a gif to throw some shade to the ESPN reporter who was so confident that his team had no shot.

You gotta love an AD who isn’t afraid to talk some smack when one of his team’s is going through a dream run. UCLA is doing just that, and Martin Jarmond must be having a hell of a time.

As for Peter Burns, bad take there man. You have to know that this is March Madness, and anything can happen on any given day.

UCLA will take on Michigan in the Elite Eight, where they will once again be a heavy underdog. It seems like Martin Jarmond is out looking to give out receipts to anyone who isn’t giving his team a shot.
