Tyler Glasnow Admits He Looks At Pictures Of Martin Shkreli To Get Himself Angry Before His Starts

According to a report, the Tampa Bay Rays were in talks with the Cubs about Craig Kimbrel and Kris Bryant, and Tyler Glasnow was a part of the talks

Maybe Tyler Glasnow has Martin Shkreli to thank for his meteoric rise to being one the top pitchers in the entire MLB. According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, Glasnow used to look at pictures of Martin Shkreli to get himself worked up before taking the rubber.

Jeff Passan would go on to say that Tyler Glasnow no longer engages in the Martin Shkreli motivational tactic.

I gotta hand it to Glasnow, Shkreli has an amazingly punchable face. He’s also one of the bigger sumbags on the planet. Shkreli, the infamous “pharma bro” is currently serving prison time for intentionally driving up the price of his company’s life saving anti-parasitic drugs for his own benefit. The former hedge fund manager recently applied for a release from prison under the guise of helping find a cure for COVID-19.

“As a successful two-time biopharma entrepreneur, having purchased multiple companies, invented multiple new drug candidates, filed numerous INDs and clinical trial applications, I am one of the few executives experienced in ALL aspects of drug development from molecule creation and hypothesis generation,” Shkreli wrote in a scientific paper posted online.

The attempt was denied, and Shkreli is set to be released sometime in 2024.

Glasnow, on the other hand, is turning into one of the most likable athletes in the country. The 27-year-old fireballer was 5-1 with a 4.08 ERA in the condensed 2020 season. I wonder who Tyler Glasnow will use next as motivation to get angry before his starts.
