According to a report, Troy Aikman is close to inking a deal with ESPN to bolt from the Fox broadcast to Monday Night Football starting next season

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and legend Troy Aikman was on the call tonight when the Cowboys got dominated by the Baltimore Ravens. Aikman offered his harsh criticism of Dallas as the clock was winding down late in the fourth quarter.

“I just don’t know where this organization… where they go. There are just so many things that have to be addressed this offseason,” Aikman says.

Troy Aikman led the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl victories (1993, 1994, and 1996). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in 2006. I think it’s safe to say Aikman doesn’t see his former team constructing a Super Bowl roster any time in the near future.

After their loss to the Ravens, the Cowboys will drop to 3-9 on the season, and will be in sole possession of last place in the sub-par NFC East.

The Cowboys had high expectations in 2020, but could never recover from losing quarterback Dak Prescott. According to Troy Aikman, the Cowboys have a lot more to worry about than their quarterback position. I would tend to agree, this team just isn’t anywhere near the contender they were expected to be. Jerry Jones has his work cut out for him.
