NBA legend Tracy McGrady has entered the world of brutal takes with his latest comments on Giannis Antetokounmpo.

This week, McGrady went out on a limb to say that he doesn’t think Giannis would have been as productive if he played back in his era. Not only that, but he think the Bucks superstar would have ‘struggled’.

”I think he would have struggled because of how closed up the paint was. It was tough offensively because the defense was so great,” he said on Shaquille O’Neal’s podcast.

“If you can’t shoot, it’s gonna be hard. And Giannis’ game is predicated on coming downhill. It would have been tough to be who he is today, back then.“

Fans trashed Tracy McGrady for his take on Giannis Antetokounmpo.

I’m going to have to agree with the masses here. Tracy McGrady is dead wrong on Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The dude is a freak of nature, who would have likely dominated in any era of basketball with his ability to dominate down low.

Unfortunately, Tracy McGrady appears to be one of those athletes who thinks they have to back themselves up by hyping up his generation of play.
