New York Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau appears to be working magic in his first season. Normally you wouldn’t start a parade for a guy for a 4-3 start, but this is the Knicks we’re talking about here, and New York fans need to get excited about something.

And sure, why not get excited about what Tom Thibodeau has done thus far? Thibs has taken a young roster and appears to have them buying into his hard-nosed approach to the game. It almost feels like the culture changed for the Knicks immediately when Thibodeau took the job.

Fans have taken to social media to praise Thibodeau for gifting them with a mediocre start to the season.

Ok, maybe Knicks fans need to pump the brakes a little bit. It must be nice to finally feel like you have a competent guy running your team, but it has only been seven games. Let’s hope Thibodeau can ride the momentum he has with his young squad.

The Knicks players seem to be buying what Thibs is selling, though.

Julius Randle is one of the many players who already look improved from last season, and he credited Thibodeau for getting the most out of the team.

“I don’t know if it’s surprising but I like the confidence of our group,” said Julius Randle via Newdsay. “Every game we come in we expect to win. And I love that about our group.

“And I think it’s also a testament to the coaches. Thibs every day is on us. He’s a great leader for us and given us a game plan we believe in every day and we’re coming into every game focused and locked into the game plan of what we need to do. I feel like if we do that we have a chance to win the game, so we’re just trying to give ourselves that every night and, like I said, learn how to win games.”

It finally looks like the Knicks have found their answer at head coach in Tom Thibodeau.
