Tom Brady’s Ex Bridget Moynahan Drops Quote About Relationships

Tom Brady’s ex Bridget Moynahan is keeping tabs on her ex.

Brady famously broke up with Bridget Moynahan while she was pregnant with their son then began dating the supermodel. Two months after he started dating Bundchen, Gisele found out his ex-girlfriend was pregnant.

“Not everything is meant to be mended. Not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime,” read the quote from marriage therapist Vienna Pharaon that was posted by Moynahan.

“Sometimes we have to learn to get comfortable with the gifts that are offered through the ruptures and the endings instead of the stories of repair and reconciliation.”

Bridget added Pharaon’s original caption to the quote, “We’re comfortable with the happily-ever-after stories because… well, Disney. Sometimes that’s reality. But reality also looks like relationships that’s don’t get mended. Endings that don’t have beautiful closure. Ruptures that stay ruptured.

“It’s much harder to be face to face with this. Our tolerance for it is low. And yet, some of our greatest gifts, offerings, and lessons come from this space. The relationship that doesn’t work out but teaches you something important about yourself. The rupture that doesn’t get mended but shows you something new about a pattern of yours.

“There is value in getting comfortable in this space. What’s something you’ve learned from a disappointing ending or a rupture that never got mended?”

Bridget Moynahan has sent numerous cryptic tweets on social media, as well as in a book that she wrote, over the years since Brady left her, but she was one of the first to congratulate him on coming out of retirement back in March.

Tom and Bridget share one child together, Jack, who is now playing Quarterback.

After three years together, the pair surprised fans when they announced their split back in December 2006. Two months later, Moynahan’s rep confirmed that the actress was pregnant, and that Brady was the father.
