Tom Brady is talking about D-Day.

The Tampa Bay Bucs legendary QB and his now ex Gisele Bündchen have finalized their divorce from one another. The divorce was being worked on since early September, and today he documents were filed in Florida court. Rumors have been circulating for several months about the demise of their marriage.

Tom and Gisele have been married for 13 years and have two children. Bündchen had given Brady an ultimatum, and in the end, he chose football over his marriage, or so it seems. Tom Brady took to his Instagram with a statement about the divorce. He had never publicly acknowledged anything about the divorce, dancing around questions, but he alluded to something going on his persona life.

“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” Brady wrote. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

Bündchen also delivered a statement but far less wordy.   It seems the downfall of their marraige was Tom Brady being unwilling to call it a career.  This marks a difficult period for Brady who has been playing below average for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His team is currently 3-5, and this could be one of the first times in his career that he doesn’t make it to the postseason.

Tough day for love.
